This American holiday is actually one of my favorites. Not for the food and excessive consumption, but for the time spent with family and being grateful.
Thanksgiving has roots way back to the dawn of the US. Unfortunately, it isn't the nicest time in history, but is important to remember and something I think about a lot this time of year. If you are interested in learning about mosre history of this holiday and the food customs, let me know!! I'd be happy to share my knowledge.
But to keep this post short, I would like to give thanks to my family and friends who support me though all of my crazy dreams and especially to my husband for being my grounding voice and encouragement when I feel like I've bitten off more than I can chew (thanksgiving pun intended...)
Whether or not your celebrate Thanksgiving, the end of autumn is a great time of year to think about the big picture of the world and be thankful for the opportunities and gifts unique to each one of us.
Happy day of thanks to you!!
