When You're Feeling Overhelmed...

Hi guys!

This past month has been insane! I've been assigned some new projects at work and although they are interesting and engaging, I feel like I am treading open water. In this situation, it is easy to get in over your head so I am currently planning and staying organized so I can make time for myself, my family, my work, and my play.

It is so important to have plenty of time for daily relaxation and play because this time allows you to reset and clear your mind for the next tasks. Without clearing space, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and constricted. Think about the difference between sitting on a bench overlooking a vast green pasture and sitting on a couch in the house of a hoarder. One allows you to breathe, think and experience while the other can influence feelings of being overwhelmed, anxious, and stressed.

If you have the opportunity to spend time with friends/family outdoors this weekend, I HIGHLY encourage you to do so! The weather here in Chicago is supposed to be beautiful and I can't wait to be outside and get some sun on my face and fresh air.
